As thousands of you already know, our LIVE events in Indianapolis and Ontario were an incredible success. After arriving at the airport in Indianapolis, CEO Joven Cabasag and founder Mr. Leow Soon Seng were greeted with cheers and waving flags by nearly 100 impassioned Affiliates. This moving display even included a country western singer performing one of Mr. Leow’s favorite songs; “Country Road, Take Me Home” by John Denver. It was a perfect start to what would be a pair of memorable events.
Joven and Mr. Leow were definitely given the “royal treatment,” in Indiana, traveling to the Sheraton Hotel in a customized, extravagant tour bus for a Leadership Social Hour with 150 Top Affiliate Leaders. The following day, hundreds of people visited our Pre-Event Sneak Peek, each of them exploring exhibit booths featuring educational presentations, new programs, and an exclusive peek at a new set of tools that will take the Gano Excel Opportunity to the next level.
At 7:00 PM, with a great deal of fanfare, the main event got underway. Hundreds of Gano Excel devotees filled the large presentation hall for a night that would prove to be an emotional rollercoaster thanks to the debut of a powerful new series of video testimonials entitled “Continue the Story.” Punctuating these moving testimonials was a lineup of speakers that created an unforgettable night of inspiration and motivation. The audience listened with rapt attention to passionate stories from Key Affiliate Leaders, and several important Gano Executives including Joven Cabasag and Mr. Leow.
It would also be a night of recognition, as special awards were presented to both Affiliate and Corporate leaders. Mr. Leow received a special “Bringing Heart to the Heartland” award, and Joven Cabasag was presented with an “Innovation Award” for his role in expanding Gano Excel to the western hemisphere. Jorge G. Suarez Turnbull (Mexico) and Dennis Compo (Canada) were also given “Corporate Excellence” awards for their dedication to building in North America. Finally, select Affiliate leaders were honored with special “Pillar Awards,” for their unique ways of exemplifying our Four Pillars philosophy.
This unforgettable night was emceed by Mike Marumoto and Tony Potter, both of whom did a fantastic job of keeping the crowd pumped up. At various points in the evening, Mike and Tony took turns launching little blue eggs into the audience – eggs filled with Cash, cash, and more cash! We also gave away 8 flat screen TVs, and distributed several Ipad2s to Triple 7 winners.
Our event in Ontario was equally memorable. Mr. Leow and Mr. Cabasag arrived by limousine to the Ontario Convention Center, where they would be greeted by a packed house of over 2,000 cheering Gano Excel Affiliates. The event kicked off at 9 AM, and the eager audience was treated to an additional four videos from our engaging “Continue the Story” testimonial series. Many of the same executives and leaders who graced the stage in Indiana gave tremendous repeat performances for the Ontario crowd. Additional speakers such as Gano Excel executives Chris and Joshua Tidwell shared their inspirational stories of how Gano Excel has expanded through South America. Director of Public Relations Robert Paz also took the stage, giving a very moving speech about Gano Excel Corporate’s high level of commitment to our Affiliate family.
During the recognition segment of the Ontario event, the packed house was treated to an exceptional Mariachi performance. At the close of the event, the audience enjoyed a second musical performance, courtesy of a Shakira impersonator who took the stage for an exceptional performance of music and dancing.
