Independent affiliate Cesar Garcia leads a brief, informative tour of the Gano Excel coffee garden/warehouse facilities here in Irwindale, CA! Inspired by Director of Field Relations Mike Marumoto's tour, Cesar offers a brief history of our company, products, and opportunity geared specifically towards Spanish speakers. Enjoy!
The four women interviewed for this short video testimonial are all Gano Excel affiliates who made an active decision to enrich their lives with our product and opportunity! Different ages, different races, different backgrounds, one choice: to bring our Ganoderma-enriched products into their lives!
See, we're not kidding when we say Cafe 2.0 is about a whole lot more than just "healthy coffee." This stuff is changing lives everyday! So ask yourself, "Do I want the kind of revitalization these ladies have?"
It’s been a long time in the making, and it’s finally ready for the public: the latest version of the popular Gano Excel Story Web site is up and live! Four short videos, hosted by our very own “Café 2.0 Girl,” introduce viewers to the full range of Gano Excel’s products, opportunity, and philosophy. What a great and highly duplicatable way to share the news about Café 2.0 with others: a “greatest hits” of our videos edited together to tell the story of a company that is changing lives, and is on its way to becoming the next billion-dollar giant.
A lot ofpeople are jumping on the enriched coffee bandwagon nowadays, both inside and outside the network marketing worlds. With so many competing “healthier coffee” brands out there, how can you, as a product evangelist for Café 2.0, convince people that ours really is the “world’s first choice”?
1. We grow it, we process it! Competing brands may sell Ganoderma capsules or throw it into their coffees and teas, but where does it come from? As you know, Gano Excel owns the world’s largest 100% organic Ganoderma Lucidum plantation, and has over 4 Million Sq. Ft. of Research & Development, Manufacturing, and Processing facilities.
2. The World’s First, Still the World’s Favorite! After years of research, our founder, Leow Soon Seng, invented the proprietary method for enriching delicious beverages with Ganoderma Lucidum. We were the world’s first company to successfully achieve a harmonious blend of coffee and Ganoderma, and our methods are unlike any of our competitors’.
3. Sterile growth environment. Some Ganoderma grows on plum trees, some of it grows in the middle of the woods, and some of it even grows on outhouses (yuck!). Unlike some brands, Gano Excel’s Ganoderma is grown on our own plantation under strict supervision and exacting health and manufacturing standards.
4. Over fifteen years of documented results! Unlike some Johnny-come-Lately “healthy coffee” peddlers, Gano Excel has over fifteen years of documented results. Can our competitors say they’ve been changing lives for that long? If they can, where’s their documentation?
5. We’re more than “healthy coffee”! Much more than just products or a business opportunity, our Café 2.0 philosophy is a whole new way of life. New friendships, more confidence, whole-person wellness, and a higher standard of life: that’s what Café 2.0 can provide that our competitors simply can’t.
Picture yourself ten years ago, way on back in 1999. Everybody was listening to that one Prince song in anticipation of the New Millenium, and the idea of phone that could take pictures was – woah! – just, like, way too cool to handle. Now, I want you to think: how often did you check your email, or watch a video online?
Probably not that much. Well, think about now – how often do you check your email now? Does your phone beep when a new message hits your inbox? Did your grandma just send you a link to that funny video of the cat playing electric piano?
Nielsen -- that company that measures how many people watch a certain TV show -- reports that in 1999, people spent an average of 8 hours and 17 minutes online per month. Nowadays, the average user spends as much as 38 hours online per month! (Sources: 1999, 2009)
It’s simply indisputable: the world is changing, and with a quickness. Amidst the chaos of our increasingly integrated globe – new markets opening, technology getting the better of its creators, privacy eroding as we broadcast our lives online, more and more jobs being outsourced daily – it’s easy to feel bewildered, scared even. But as with any global shift, in the midst of all this confusion, there’s also great opportunity.
A few years ago, a visionary schoolteacher named Karl Fisch put together a video presentation called “Shift Happens” for his class. It became an Internet hit, and was later re-adapted by Sony BMG, the famous record label, as an opening video for its executive conference in Rome. Now, it’s called “Did You Know?” (Thanks to several of our affiliates for emailing us this video!)
Now, take a few minutes and watch it:
With well over 5 million YouTube views, it’s clear that this video speaks to people. But why? What’s the take-home message here? That China and India are overtaking the Americas as computing power booms? That you check your email a lot and get videos of kittens from your granny? In the singer Peggy Lee’s famous words, “Is that all there is?”
It’s got to be deeper than that. So, as the video asks us – what does it all mean?
It means traditional jobs aren’t secure like they used to be; it means the world is more hyper-connected than ever; it means we’re reaching a point where, with widespread computer access and total information synergy, people can take more and more control of their lives – and their finances.
It’s in that space between the present and the future, the actual and potential, that direct sales companies like Gano Excel come in.
A recent article on Entrepreneur.com tells us that in the midst of lay-offs and other unfortunate effects of our new global economy, network marketing thrives. And with the hyper-connectivity available with the Internet, it’s easier than ever to start and build a lifestyle-changing home-based business.
The modern world’s ever-expanding borders can make someone feel like an insignificant wire in a vast and complex piece of electronics they didn’t design. It’s easy to lose your identity, your sense of self, amidst all the shifting data and global upheavals.
It’s inspiring to know that in a world like ours, where nothing is certain and the rules of the game seem to change minute-by-minute, that there is still an industry where the individual matters – where things are still simple, and good work will yield great results for people who can recognize a life-changing opportunity when they see it.
That industry is network marketing, and the greatest opportunity in this industry is waiting for you here at Gano!
There's an old joke that's pretty popular with seasoned veterans of our industry. It goes, "If you want something to grow, put fertilizer on it or tell a network marketer."
We all know what that means, right? Suddenly, within a week of signing up, everybody's a leader, or the product has made them grow six inches and led to their winning a major Triathalon with no training. The joke works (and stings!) because so much of American business culture -- both in network marketing and outside of it -- is based on exaggeration and unfounded claims. (Enron, anyone?)
This isn't something unique to our industry; change the joke to, "If you want something to grow, put fertilizer on it or tell a stock broker," and it still packs its punch. Of course it's not true across the board -- there are more honest stock brokers than there are crooked ones, just as there are more honest networkers -- but it "sticks" because of our misconceptions of what business people do.
Gano independent affiliate Robert Hollis, a network marketing legend who has earned over $26 million in the industry, was the first person to tell us that joke -- but we've heard it many times since. When Robert told us about it, he followed immediately by saying, "We know that's how it is. But why not just tell the truth?"
It's a discussion that's been raging in network marketing circles for decades. Networker and author John Milton Fogg jumped into the fray with a powerful little article, "Four Lies of MLM." Here's what Fogg has to say about the "myths of network marketing":
The lies that limit the future of network
marketing began as so many untruths do. They were told initially
to bolster up our insecurity -- in this case, our industry's perceived
lack of self-esteem. The lies were harmless "little white"
(i.e. "okay") ones, meant to make us seem bigger and
better than we really thought we were.
He goes on to talk about the 4 biggie myths we hear told again and again: stuff about The Wall Street Journal making wild claims about future prosperity for networkers, or that our methods are taught at Harvard and Standford. With just a teensy bit of research, all these things go away -- but in the heat of the moment, when you're enthusiastically sharing the news about Café 2.0, who has time for research?
If you've made $250 for a commissions period, why say you've made $300? That little inflation won't improve your case, and if the person you're sharing with finds out about that phantom $50, you can kiss your reputation goodbye! As Robert puts it again and again, "Always ask, 'How do you know that?'" -- even of yourself!
There are real facts -- not myths -- about our industry and products that are compelling enough that you don't need the myths. OK, so this isn't "the industry that has created the most millionaires in America" -- that'd be real estate, incidentally -- but it is an industry that has touched countless lives, enriched so many with its promise of time and financial freedom. Show people what it's done for you and for people you know -- don't repeat the old myths, don't go spouting off that fertilizer!
There's a button sitting down there on the lower-right portion of your screen. Wait - don't move! You might startle it. OK: slowly, slowly...now, what is that thing?
"Click-2-Call" it says. Hmm.
Well, way we figure, if you see a button you've got to push it. So go ahead - push it. We won't stop you.
Oh, woah! That's interesting. The Click-2-Call system automatically sends our 1-800-921-GANO Information Line to any phone number you like! How cool is that?
The Gano Information Line has been getting rave reviews from a number of our affiliates. They say it's one of their favorite tools when they're spreading the news about Cafe 2.0 with their friends and prospective team members. It's more than a mere "sizzle call" -- instead, the Gano Information Line provides callers with a comprehensive overview of Gano Excel's products, opportunity, and our Cafe 2.0 philosophy that simply cannot be beat.
Many of our affiliates have been leveraging this call in a simple, easily duplicatable three-step system:
1.
Get someone to make the call. You can have them do it with you
in the room, give them a card with the number written on it –
whatever works, so long as they get on the phone line. We’re being
told that most people who hear the call are sold on Café 2.0 by
the end of it; if that’s the case with the person you’re
sharing with, you move on to Step 2. Say the person isn’t
interested – what then? Well, you can save yourself a lot of time
and energy: just move on to a more open-minded person and share the call
with them!
2.
Assess their interest. Discuss the call with your prospect,
and ask them what appealed to them most. Did they come away from the
call craving a mug of the mocha, or were they hyped to get their own
business started right away? This saves you having to figure out whether
the person you’re trying to put on your left leg really just wants
to order product, or the person you think wants to order product is
interested in becoming a full-on affiliate. Finally, once you’ve
decided what the prospect wants, you move to Step 3.
3.
Send them to the appropriate replicant Websitefor
their level/area of interest, where they can take action on their
excitement!
This method has been used to great effect by so many of our affiliates recently that it’d be a shame for us not to share it with all of you. The most exciting thing, however, is how easily duplicatable it is! Can you tell your organization to do three simple things to whip up the most direct recipe for success in their business? We bet you can; and if you do, we’re sure you’ll see your business boom.
The Gano Information Line and the Click-2-Call System are just two more examples of the easy-to-use, high-tech marketing options Gano Excel has developed for its affiliates. They're also two of the many "hidden treasures" in Gano's marketing tool shed. Give them a try today!
Some call it the Indianapolis 500 of racing: The Suncoast Super Boat Grand Prix, where the big boys come to show off the coolest boats and set new world records.
Guess who made a big splash at this year's event? That's right: Gano's at sea as a sponsor of the super-fast, Discovery Channel-featuredMiss Geico twin turbine superboat!
The Miss Geico/Gano Excel boat took FIRST PLACE in its category at this past weekend's Suncoast Super Boat Grand Prix -- setting a world record in the process!
Here's a shot of the boat in action. Strap yourself down; this one might blow you out of the water!
OK, Gano Sports fans -- a word of advice. Tempted as you may be after seeing that clip, don't go pouring Tongkat Ali into your engine; we don't have any studies on whether Ganoderma makes an effective performance booster for boats!
Click here to read a Sarasota Herald Tribune correspondent Alan Dell's write-up on the Miss Geico/Gano Excel racer's stunning victory.
Just for good measure, here's more video of our very own boat blasting its way through the infamous "Chatanooga Mile" a few weeks back:
Congratulations to the Miss Geico Team! And a special thanks to Robert Hollis and the members of his new leadership that made getting Gano teamed with Geico a reality!
More and more data is bubbling up about coffee's amazing health-boosting abilities. The latest bit of good news for coffee lovers and Gano Excel affiliates comes from CBS News, who report that "your morning cup of coffee might help treat or even prevent memory loss." (Click here to retrieve the article from CBS!)
According to the report, two new studies -- both from the respected Journal of Alzheimer's Disease -- indicate that regular consumption of coffee can help fight memory loss and seem to have helped symptoms of Alzheimer's in laboratory mice.
"Their thinking is that actually the caffeine worked by decreasing
the inflammation in the brain, cuts down on the buildup of protein we
see in the brain of people with Alzheimer's disease," says Dr. Jennifer Ashton, the expert cited by CBS.
While Dr. Ashton was quick to add that the studies show "coffee didn't have a healing effect but more of a therapeutic effect," she does indicate that more studies are on the way.
So, add "memory booster" to the laundrylist of benefits contained in one cup of Café 2.0 Ganocafé Classic!
In other words: Coffee's health benefits + the astounding health benefits of Ganoderma = pure, liquid gold for both consumers and affiliates alike!
Conventional knowledge has us repeating again and again that your
regular cup of coffee is bad for you, and that the addition of
Ganoderma helps abate or mitigate many of these negative health
effects. The emerging truth, however, is even more exciting: by fusing healthful robusta coffee beans with ganoderma, Café 2.0 actually creates the healthiest cup of coffee on the planet.
CBS has reported on coffee's health benefits before, including this compelling video on how heavy coffee drinkers have a significantly lower risk of Type 2 diabetes (Click here to see the video).
Both reports indicate that health benefits can only be seen in people who drink 5 or more cups of coffee a day. This may actually be bad news for those of you who have to choke down burnt-tasting, overpriced cups of "Café Gran Turino" or whatever, but it's GREAT news for anyone drinking one of our affordable, delicious, easy-to-serve Café 2.0 products!
Who knew the road to long life could be as easy as tearing open five or more sachets a day?
Picture this: you head to your local pharmacy to pick up a prescription from your doctor. When you get the bottle from the pharmacist, there's a message somewhere on it: "FDA Approved." That means the FDA -- the US Food and Drug Administration -- has given your medicine the "green light." Ostensibly, this stuff is safe to consume, and will actually do what it says it does.
But what if the bottle doesn't have an FDA mark? In fact, what if -- as is the case with every herbal supplement you'll find in a grocery store, drug store, or your Gano Excel affiliate -- there's a notice specifically saying, "These statements have NOT been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration."What would you do then?
Way back in 1994, Congress required the FDA to set manufacturing standards for all dietary and herbal supplements. Now, our buddies at the FDA don't prevent the production or selling of untested supplements -- but they do place strict limits on advertising. (This is where the "...and your business" part starts!)Companies that produce supplements cannot make specific claims about the how their products can treat, prevent or cure any diseases, even if they really can treat, prevent or cure a disease. They aren't even allowed to claim any direct health benefits; they can only allude to them. The FDA deems anything that can treat, prevent or cure diseases is a drug, and must go through the lengthy and expensive drug approval process.
And let us tell you, that can take a loooong time. A company that develops a drug for human consumption must first be able to prove scientifically that the drug is safe (mainly through animal testing -- you know, all those poor monkeys, rabbits, and lab mice). Then, the drug has to get FDA approval to begin tests in humans. From there it's progress reports, risk assessments, all that jazz -- and sometimes, even after all that, stuff gets buried or confused. For instance, some people saw links between antidepressant Prozac and an elevated risk of suicide in teenagers -- but the drug was still on the market, even as our children were at risk. (Click here to read a BBC article on the subject.)
This testing process can cost millions of dollars, leaving most supplement companies unable to even dream of filing their product as a drug.
Although this policy aims to prevent supplement companies from making false or misleading claims, it can also prevent consumers from easily identifying potential health benefits from truly effective supplements. As a result, many consumers are not aware of the many commercially available supplements that can treat their medical conditions cheaply and safely, unless supplements are prescribed by their doctor. This whole thing seems a bit ridiculous.
In a perfect world, supplement manufacturers would be able to discuss more clearly just what their products can do. However, the reality is that many companies are willing to promise more than they can deliver, and as such, FDA standards serve an important “watchdog” function. By following FDA policies, Gano Excel is unable to get the message out to consumers of the potential of their ganoderma-infused products to treat, prevent or cure many diseases. Instead we can merely state that the products promote good health. Yet customers who have had remarkable health results can’t help but tell others and by word of mouth, the amazing power of the Gano Excel products is told. But let’s be clear: we here at Gano Excel understand and believe that the FDA does serve a vital role in protecting the people of the United States. The FDA ensures that supplement products are free from pesticides, microbes, and metals. The FDA also polices the industry to ensure truth in labeling, which means that the ingredients listed on the supplement label match the ingredients of the product. The FDA testing and labeling restrictions have been put in place to ensure safety for consumers, through rigid standards of testing, advertising, and product approval. The FDA is designed to not only approve products but also to ensure that no false guarantees are promised in advertising.
Gano Excel adheres to FDA regulations faithfully, and follows the guiding principles of the FDA. Gano Excel has maintained a Good Manufacturing Practices certification which actually exceeds the health and safety standards of the FDA. Gano Excel also welcomes (and actively invites) the scrutiny of their operations by their customers, as they are backed by an impressive health and safety record.
